A Barrel of Monkeys.... reminds me of when I was little. I never really "got" the game, but loved it regardless.
This game recently came up in conversation and I've been thinking about it ever since. Look at those monkeys. They hold each other up with one arm, scoop each other up with the other. They support each other, they work together and create a network of monkeys all wanting the same thing: lets see how many monkeys we can help without falling.
I feel like this is me and the people that surround me.
As a business owner: to network and build trusting relationships in order to be successful. The trust in those that I work with to get each job completed, and completed successfully. Businesses need each other. It is a win-win for everyone when a customer/client/user is happy... or else we fall.
As a parent: to work with family, teachers and other parents to support and guide my kids and help them make the right decisions.
Without the support, reassurance and guidance of those around you, you are merely one monkey. One monkey cannot use their scooping and lifting arms if there is no one else to lift.... and monkey around with.
